Jewelry fundraiser in Belfast benefits New Hope for Women
BELFAST — Midcoast residents and Independent Silpada Designs® Representatives Kate Faragher Houghton, Esther Darres, and Joanne Parent are hosting an afternoon of jewelry shopping, and socializing at Nautilus Seafood and Grill in Belfast Sunday, April 12 from 12 p.m. to 3 p.m.
Twenty percent of all Silpada jewelry purchases during this event will go directly to New Hope for Women.
Silpada is a family-owned business committed to empowering women through one-of-a-kind jewelry and unique opportunities for fashion entrepreneurship, according to a news release.
A light luncheon menu will be available for purchase from 12:30 to 2 p.m.

New Hope for Women offers support to people in Sagadahoc, Lincoln, Knox and Waldo counties affected by domestic violence, dating violence, and stalking.
It also provides educational resources to assist communities in creating a safer and healthier future.
