State Police investigating death of Troy father

TROY — Waldo County Sheriff’s deputies were called to a home on Rutland Road in Troy overnight Friday and discovered the body of 49-year-old Steven Hodgdon inside.
According to Maine Department of Public Safety spokesman Steve McCausland, deputies were called around 2:30 a.m. Saturday to Hodgdon’s residence, where he lived with his teenage son.
An autopsy is scheduled Sunday at the State Medical Examiner's Office in Augusta.
McCausland said that the son is currently staying with other relatives.
