ROCKLAND — New work by artist James Stephen Zoller will be featured during the month of November at Archipelago, the Island Institute Store, in Rockland.
Zoller enjoys depicting the pattern of sunlight and shadows on subject matter ranging from spruce-dotted islandscapes to tranquil still-lifes.
His paintings often evoke a sense of serenity and stillness that he strives for in his own life, according to the press release.
The store at 386 Main St. is open weekdays from 9:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.; Saturdays from 9:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.; and Sundays from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
