Riley School

Riley School, in Rockport, is an independent progressive school serving children age 2 through grade 8 on a bucolic, 21-acre campus and is accepting applications for the 2025–2026 academic year. With limited openings across several grade levels, families seeking a child-centered, inquiry-based approach to education are encouraged to apply.

Rooted in the principles of progressive education, Riley School emphasizes hands-on learning, critical thinking, social-emotional development, and real-world problem-solving. Classrooms are designed to foster curiosity, compassion, and collaboration—empowering students to take ownership of their learning while developing a strong sense of purpose and community. Flexible seating, significant outdoor time, and flexibility help our students develop into kind and curious citizens.
