Patricia A. Murray, 81, passed away on February 28, 2025, in Portland, Maine.

Born on July 28, 1943, Patricia spent her early years in Rockland, attending schools in Warren and Rockland. It was during this time that she met her future spouse in the seventh grade.

Patricia dedicated much of her career to hard work, beginning in the fish factories before working alongside her spouse digging for clams and bloodworms. She later embarked on a 20-plus-year career at the Samoset Resort, where she was recognized as Employee of the Year in January 2019.

In her free time, Patricia enjoyed playing beano and trying her luck with pull tabs and scratch tickets.

She was predeceased by her parents, Dorothy E. Hamilton and Wilbur Hamilton, as well as her brothers Wayne Vose and Jack Vose.

Patricia is survived by her spouse, Ronald E. Murray; children Les Murray and wife Heidi, and Lisa Murray and fiancé Ira Small; brothers Mark Hamilton and wife Sharon, and Brian Hamilton and wife Kathy; grandchildren Robert Murray, Travis Dennison, and Alicia Dennison; as well as several great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.

A celebration of life will be held in the spring.
