CAMDEN — A winter parking ban is in effect from 8 p.m., Dec. 9, through 7 a.m., Dec. 10, for all streets and parking lots in Camden, except for the Public Safety lot on Washington Street.

"We understand an overnight ban could be less than ideal, but crews must stay ahead of the predicted rain event forecast for Wednesday-Thursday this week," said Public Works Director Dave St. Laurent.

"The removal of accumulated snow and ice along the edge of the road/curb and storm drainage grates is essential to avoid the potential for flooding."
