ROCKLAND — Despite the cold, throngs of bundled men, women and children lined Rockland's Main Street for the Festival of Lights Parade. As the spectators gathered three and four deep on the sidewalks, it was as if all of Rockland had turned out for the event. Unlike the Lobster Festival Parade that hosts thousands of tourists, the Festival of Lights Parade was for the community as a way of capping off the Thanksgiving weekend and welcoming the start of the holidays. The following gallery depicts many of the floats that were in the parade.
