Emergency repairs being conducted to bridge joint on southbound I-95 in Augusta

AUGUSTA — The Maine Department of Transportation is conducting emergency repairs to a bridge joint on the southbound side of I-95 between Exits 112 and 109 in Augusta, according to an Aug. 19, 2024 MDOT news release issued at 4 p.m.
The failing bridge joint is on the bridge that carries the interstate over Bond Brook Road. The right-hand lane of interstate traffic will be closed for several hours while crews make these repairs.
