Pen Bay Medical Center will host a memorial service Monday, Oct. 16, to honor beloved care team member Emily Mecklenburg, MD. The service will begin at 6 p.m. on the large lawn on the PBMC campus, just down the hill to the right of the main hospital entrance.

Dr. Mecklenburg was tragically killed in a boating accident off the Rockland Breakwater Monday, Oct. 9. She was a friend to many and well known for the compassionate care she provided to patients. Family members, friends, former patients, and fellow providers and care team members are invited to the service to share emotions, thoughts and memories.
