Knox County Sheriff’s Office to dispose of unclaimed property if owners not found

The Knox County Sheriff’s Office has in its possession several firearms, tools, and other personal property and is attempting to determine the rightful owner or owners.
If you are the owner or are entitled to the possession of any property that is in the possession of the Knox County Sheriff’s Office, please contact Det. Justin Twitchell at (207) 594-0429 ext. 721.
“Be prepared to provide credible evidence that you are the rightful owner of said property,” said KCSO, in a news release.
Any unclaimed property will be properly disposed of by the Knox County Sheriff’s Office as stated by County policy.
