BELFAST — Belfast photographer and author Jim Kosinski’s images from the Maine coast will be on exhibit in the Kramer Gallery of the Belfast Free Library, 106 High St., during the month of July. The show, “A Celebration of Light” explores being outdoors in the brilliant natural beauty of our shores, featuring content from Cape Neddick to Jonesport.

Black and white, cyanotype, inkjet and other print making approaches will be on view with images made from film (35mm and large format), digital and pinhole cameras.

Photos that children will enjoy, placed at their own eye level, form a special section of the show called the KidZone.

Kosinski is the author of “Maine Coast Outings on Penobscot Bay: for All Ages and Abilities.”

The book is a collection of 25 day trips on the shores of Penobscot Bay that includes important safety information for folks with kids and for anyone with mobility challenges.
