First National Bank has made donations totaling $2,800 to fourteen Emergency Medical Service organizations in the bank’s market area in response to National EMS Week 2023.
In 1974, President Gerald Ford proclaimed EMS Week to celebrate and recognize EMS practitioners and the important work they do in our nation. The 49th annual National EMS Week is held May 21 through May 27, 2023.
Bar Harbor Fire Fighters Association, Belfast Ambulance, Boothbay Region Ambulance Service Inc, Brewer Fire & EMS, Calais Fire-EMS, Camden Fire Department, Central Lincoln County Ambulance Service, Mount Desert Fire and Rescue Association, Peninsula Ambulance Corps Inc Rockland Fire & EMS, Southwest Harbor Tremont Nursing Service, Waldoboro EMS, Washington County EMS Authority/Downeast EMS, and Wiscasset Ambulance Service.
