House shares in brunt of minor vehicle crash on Ingraham Drive
OWLS HEAD — For the passersby wondering if their peripheral vision were playing tricks on them while passing a house on Ingraham Drive, in Owls Head, maybe not. A corner pillar is temporarily standing at an angle Saturday afternoon, in the wake of a car crash that forced one of the vehicles against the house corner.
At approximately 3:40 p.m., July 2, Owls Head firefighters and Rockland EMS were alerted to a minor two vehicle crash near Ocean Avenue. The people involved were assessed on scene by EMS without any transports to the hospital, and both vehicles’ front ends sustained damage after two cars collided, one heading northbound and the other car crossing the road.
Firefighters determined that the house did not require immediate shoring up. Firefighters also assessed the house’s interior and ruled out any obvious electric, plumbing, or other utilities that could present an immediate safety hazard.
All fire personnel were back at the fire station by 5 p.m.
AutoMaster towed one vehicle.
