COVID vaccine clinics coming to St. George, Belfast

    There will be two COVID-19 vaccination clinics held in the Midcoast next week with one in Knox County and one in Waldo County. 

    The St. George Ambulance will hold a booster clinic with Moderna doses Thursday, March 3 from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.

    Call the Town Office at 372-6363 to schedule an appointment.

    A clinic will be held in Belfast the following day, March 4, from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m. in the Tarratine Building at 153 Main Street. 

    The Clinic is being presented by the Belfast Fire & EMS Department and Belfast Public Health Nursing, in cooperation with the City of Belfast, Tarratine Tribe #13 IORM, the Waldo County Emergency Management Agency and the Maine CDC Division of Public Health Nursing.

    The Clinic will be providing first, second, and booster vaccinations for adults and, with parental consent, to those 5 to 17 years old. 

    Everyone receiving a first dose of Pfizer or Moderna will be scheduled for their second dose before they leave the clinic.

    Walk-ins at the Belfast clinic are welcome.
