ROCKPORT — One person was transported by Lifeflight to a trauma center, and another was taken by ambulance to a local hospital, Friday afternoon, July 2, 2021 following a crash on West Street (Rte 90), in Rockport, that involved three vehicles.

Though the incident remains under investigation, preliminary appearance suggests that the Hyundai crossed into the other lane, striking the Chevy head-on, according to Det. Sgt. Curt Andrick of the Camden and Rockport police departments.
The Lexus received minor damage from the Hyundai because the driver “was able to take action and avoid the head-on collision,” said Andrick.
