Lillian M. Green, obituary
BELFAST — Lillian Mae Green, 94, died peacefully at her home in Belfast on December 8, 2020.
She was born in Belfast on January 1, 1926 to Freeman and Madeline Walker.
In earlier years, she worked at the shoe factory. She married her true love, Paul in 1964, and they had 40 wonderful years together.
Lillian loved going out to eat. She always thought about others' needs and did for them even if it meant she went without. She cared for her grandmother, mother-in-law, her mother, step-father and her father as they neared the end of their life.
Lillian served God faithfully and made many church friends from all over Maine and beyond. She loved her family and was happiest when she was surrounded by them. Lillian was adopted as mother and grandmother to many folks – all who were blessed to know her loved her.
Lillian is predeceased by both parents; her husband, Paul Green; two brothers, Franklin Walker, and Pierre Walker and his wife Jackie; brothers-in-law Rodney Robbins and Maynard Gray; son-in-law, Dallas Harriman; granddaughter, Sarah Russell; grandson, Reuel Bean; and two nieces, Jan Boguen and Donna Costa.
Lillian is survived by her son, Terrence Harvey and wife Linda; her daughters, Sheila Harriman, Faith Faulkingham and husband John, Melody Russell; two sisters, Ruth Robbins and Larita Gray; a brother Augustus Marshall Jr.
She is also survived by several grandchildren: Tammy Harvey, Cee Cee Harvey, Wayne Harriman, Shawn Brown, Nick Faulkingham, Kristol Bean, Hannah Russell, Emily Russell; 14 great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild; many very special nieces and nephews.
Funeral service was held December 11, at 11 a.m., at Riposta Funeral Home, followed by burial at Smart Cemetery.
