NORTHPORT — Gregory Edward McClain, 69, of Northport, ME, passed away on Monday, November 9, 2020.

Greg is survived by his beloved wife of 41 years Cathy (nee Sabo); daughter, Kyley (Avi) Sommer; and grandson, Mardy; siblings Sandy (Dennis) Dunkerson, Debbie (Jim) Yazevac, Wes (Donna) McClain, and Craig (Sue)
McClain.

He was predeceased by his parents, W. Lee and Betty McClain; sister Sharon Hardy; and beloved mother-in-law, Emily Fischer Sabo.

Former resident of West Windsor, New Jersey, he moved to Maine in 2002. Greg was a graduate of Princeton High School, Princeton, New Jersey, Rutgers University School of Turf Grass Management, former co-owner of Cranbury Golf Course, and owner of Turf Concepts, Inc, in New Jersey.  

Greg and his Great Dane Luna were well known in the Midcoast Maine communities of Belfast and Camden. Greg’s memory will always bring a smile to his family and friends.
