Belfast Police beat

    BELFAST — The Belfast Police Department reported the following activity Feb. 2-10. An arrest or summons does not imply guilt.

    Feb. 2

    Machell L. Lahaye, 40, of Ellsworth, was issued a summons for speeding 61 mph in a 35 mph zone on Searsport Avenue. 

    Feb. 8

    Nicholas T. Ripley, 20, of Belfast, was issued summonses for an inspection sticker violation and failure to provide proof of insurance on Lower Congress Street. 

    Feb. 9

    Kaleb Benjamin, 23, of Morrill, was issued a summons for failure to provide proof of insurance on Poors Mill Road.
