Four-car crash on Route 131 in South Thomaston, roads open again

The first accident (A) is at 571 St. George Road (Route 131) and the second accident (B) is on Westbrook Street, in the vicinity of Punkin Hill Road.

SOUTH THOMASTON — A four-car accident at 571 St. George Road (Route 131) temporarily closed the road connecting Thomaston and South Thomaston.
The accident is reported to be in the vicinity of the driving range. Three people are reported to be injured, but there is no word how serious.
Another accident in South Thomaston has also been reported, on Westbrook Street in the area of Punkin Hill Road. This accident is property damage only, no injuries, according to reports.
Motorists are urged to use caution, as roads are very slippery and sand trucks are en route.
