'Zodiac' film, conversation with Aaron Britt, Jo Dondis
ROCKLAND — Zodiac (2007), based on the true story of the notorious San Francisco serial killer and the intense manhunt he inspired, will be screened as a “Journalist's Pick” film in the Strand Theatre’s Conversation Series on Saturday, Feb. 15, at 5:30 p.m. As part of the event, Midcoast Villager publisher Aaron Britt will talk with former network news producer (and founding board chair of Friends of the Strand Theatre) Jo Dondis about his time working at the San Francisco Chronicle.
Zodiac is a thriller of David Fincher, the director of Se7en and Panic Room. Featuring an ensemble cast led by Jake Gyllenhaal, Robert Downey Jr., Mark Ruffalo and Chloë Sevigny, Zodiac is a searing and singularly haunting examination of twin obsessions: one man’s desire to kill and another’s quest for the truth, according to a news release.
This film will be shown in 4K. Tickets are $10/General Admission, $8/Seniors and Under 12, $7/Strand Members, and will be available at the box office 30 minutes prior to show time. Beer and wine are available at the theater’s concessions.
