Youth Community Science Explorers Program at Belfast library, April 15
BELFAST — The next session of Youth Community Science Explorers STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Math) adventure series at the Belfast Free Library will be held Tuesday, April 15, from 3:30 -5 p.m., in the library’s Abbott Room on the ground floor. The theme for this session is “Dive into Vernal Pools.”
This monthly series allows youth ages 8-12 an opportunity to explore and discover together with UMaine scientists and local field experts through hands-on learning experiences and activities.
Explore, create, learn. Youth Community Science Explorers STEAM is a collaborative effort between the University of Maine’s Cooperative Extension Waldo County 4-H, the Belfast Free Library and the UMaine MARINE Initiative.
