WCGH: Silver Tea raises money for Hospital Aid

BELFAST — The Waldo County General Hospital Aid's Holiday Silver Tea was held Dec. 12, with $9,000 in donations being presented to WCGH Executive Director Mark Biscone.
The Silver Tea was held at the Hiram Alden House Inn on Church Street in Belfast, with hosts and inn owners Rosemarie Cyr and Larry Marshall.
In addition to the checks presented to Biscone Tuesday, $1,596 in donations were received at the tea and another $1,784 came from the raffle, all of which will also benefit the hospital.
The winners of the $100 gift cards to Hannaford were Barry Way, Barbara Grass and Sandra Gordon.
