ROCKPORT — Justin and Tiffany Ford have announced their company's arrival in the Maine waterfront real estate market. "We are very excited about our venture into the real estate market in Maine. We've been working in real estate with mortgages and rentals since 1997 — this just made sense to us," said the Fords in a joint statement.

On the Water Real Estate, Inc. is the sister company to On the Water in Maine, Inc. Vacation Property Rentals and Maine Watercraft Rentals, Inc.

"Tiffany was a leading sales agent in Knox County last year. We have over 20,000 vacation renters vacationing with On the Water in Maine wanting someone they know and could trust to help them with their real estate interests. For us to venture into this area of the real estate industry only made logical sense." said Justin Ford in the news release. "Nicole 'Nikki' Bland is our Designated Broker. Nikki is someone I have known since childhood and was a natural fit to bring her into our office."

On the Water Real Estate's website is live at www.otwre.com. The website is designed and created by Level8 of Portland. With a focus on waterfront real estate, one doesn't need to check a box to look for real estate listings on the water when searching on the site.

"We're not just waterfront brokers though," said Nikki in the news release. "We know people come to the villages of Camden, Bar Harbor, Boothbay and Damariscotta to be near the water and hope to service client's interested in waterfront village properties as well."

Another creative feature of the website is it's ability to just search for properties by water body name. "Just type in 'Damariscotta Lake' for example," said Tiffany, "only properties on Damariscotta Lake will appear regardless of the several towns that surround the water body they are in. We wanted to make it easy for people to find properties on their favorite bodies of water."
