Washington man dies in Chelsea car crash

Maine State Police reported Oct. 4 that a man has died from his injuries following a one-car crash in Chelsea early Monday morning, Oct. 2.
Troopers said Craig MacMunn,, 39, of Washington, died last night at Maine Medical Center, in Portland, after his SUV struck a utility pole and rock embankment at the intersection of Route 17 and the Windsor Road.
The crash was reported just after 2 a.m. Oct. 2. Troopers said speed was a factor and MacMunn was not wearing his seat belt.
