Washington girl funds charity through pageantry

WASHINGTON — Elizabeth Bowman, fifth grader at Prescott Memorial School in Washington,, has been selected to participate in the Miss East Coast 2015 Pageant. The pageant is being held at the Portland Fireside Inn, on March 7.
Each contestant will be judged in personal interview and evening gown. The winner will receive a crown and other gifts.
Elizabeth, daughter of Greg and Staci Bowman, is looking for sponsors for the upcoming pageant. All money raised will be going to the Wounded Warrior Project.
