Waldoboro Police beat: Spray painting a house, arrest warrants
WALDOBORO — Waldoboro police responded to 145 calls for service from Sept. 26-Oct. 3. Listed below are a few of the highlights. An arrest or summons does not apply guilt. A person charged with a crime is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in a court of law.
Sept. 26
Jason Gallagher, 36, of Waldoboro, was issued a summons by Officer Jeffery Fuller for operating after suspension.
Fuller is investigating a criminal mischief complaint from a citizen who reported he had two vehicles egged the previous night.
Officer Thomas Bartunek investigated an accident on Finntown Road at 7:27 p.m. Cameron Allaire, 17, of Washington, was driving a 2003 Honda utility vehicle. Allaire was travelling north on Finntown Road. A deer crossed the roadway in front of Allaire’s vehicle and he struck the deer. No injuries were reported.
Sept. 27
Officer Larry Hesseltine is investigating a criminal mischief complaint from a citizen that someone spray-painted his residence.
Paul Scott, 45, of Nobleboro, was issued a summons by Officer Chris Spear for imprudent speed.
MaryJean Reynolds, 57, of Waldoboro, was arrested by Hesseltine on a warrant.
Sept. 29
Joshua Glidden, 31, of Waldoboro, was arrested by Hesseline on a warrant.
Oct. 2
Fuller investigated an accident in the Hannaford parking lot. Dorcelle Brown, 74, of Nobleboro, was driving a 2014 Jeep utility vehicle. Cynthia Laine, 76, of Jefferson, was driving a 2017 Hyundai sedan. Brown failed to yield right of way to Laine’s vehicle and struck it in the side as it passed. No injuries were reported.
Oct. 3
Andrew Benner, 26, of Waldoboro, was issued a summons by Fuller for operating after suspension.
