Waldoboro Police beat: OUI, driving to endanger
WALDOBORO - Waldoboro police responded to 117 calls for service from Feb. 7-14. Listed below are a few of the highlights. An arrest or summons does not apply guilt. A person charged with a crime is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in a court of law.
Feb. 10
Officer Jeffery Fuller investigated an accident on the Manktown Road at 1:40 p.m. Owen Jameson, 17, of Friendship, was driving a 2003 GMC Pickup truck. Jameson lost control due to road conditions, went off the road on opposite side of road, striking a tree. No injuries were reported.
Feb. 11
Charles Maxcy, 30, of Waldoboro, was arrested by Fuller for a violation of a protection order.
Feb. 12
Fredrick Campbell, 32, of Friendship, was arrested by Officer Chris Spear for operating under the influence and driving to endanger.
Feb. 14
Officer Larry Hesseltine is investigating a report from a citizen of the theft of medication.
