BELFAST — The following activity was reported by the Waldo County Sheriff’s Department Jan. 11-16. An arrest or summons does not imply guilt. 

Jan. 11

A Brooks minor was issued a summons for an inspection sticker violation on Purple Heart Highway in Brooks. 

Jacob Rose, 20, of Brooks, issued a summons for an inspection sticker violation on Purple Heart Highway in Brooks. 

Jan. 13

Thomas Stewart, 51, of Frankfort, was issued a summons for criminal speed for reportedly traveling 81 mph in a 50 mph zone on N. Main Street in Winterport. 

Ronald M. House, 41, of South Bristol, was arrested for operating under the influence, violating conditions of release, and operating without a license (beyond condition/restriction) on Route 1 in Northport.
