    BELFAST — The Waldo County Sheriff’s Office reported the following activity Oct. 17-26. An arrest or summons does not imply guilt. 

    Oct. 12

    David Riley, 36, of Belfast, was arrested for operating under the influence and failure to give notice of an accident by quickest means on Atlantic Highway in Northport. 

    Oct. 17

    Corporal Darrin Moody responded to the scene of a two-vehicle accident at the intersection of Lang Hill Highway and Reynolds Road in Brooks. A 1999 Buick was traveling southbound behind a second vehicle, a 2008 Chevy, which had started to slow to make a left-hand turn. The driver of the Buick attempted to pass the vehicle in the left lane, causing the two vehicles to collide when the Chevy continued making their turn across the northbound lane. Neither driver was injured and both vehicles sustained minor damage. 

    Oct. 20

    Noah M. Nelson, 20, of Skowhegan, was issued a summons for operating after suspension on School Street in Unity.

    Oct. 22

    Fern Marlborough, 42, of Waterville, was arrested for violating conditions of release on Public Safety Way in Belfast. 

    Oct. 23

    Laurel A. Hubbard, 55, of Montville, was arrested for violating a condition of release in Montville.
