BELFAST — The Waldo County Sheriff’s Office reported the following activity Sept. 10-22. An arrest or summons does not imply guilt.

    Aug. 21 (late entry)

Hunter M. Brown, 18, of Fairfield, was issued a summons for prohibited acts by a minor (consumption) on Dogwood Lane in Unity on or about Aug. 16.

    Aug. 23

Jackson Aldrich, 20, of Unity, was issued a summons for furnishing a place for minors to consume liquor on Dogwood Lane in Unity.

    Sept. 10

Catherine Waterman, 59, of Burnham, was issued a summons for theft on Plaza Drive in Unity.

    Sept. 22

Deputy David Wight responded to the scene of a two-vehicle accident at the intersection of Pond Road and Waterman Lane in Burnham where a driver with an obstructed view failed to yield the right of way. The driver of that vehicle, a 2005 Nissan, was making a left turn onto Pond Road from Waterman Lane when her view was partially obstructed by a row of mailboxes, according to an accident report. The driver reportedly did not see a northbound vehicle already traveling on Pond Road and struck the second vehicle when pulling out. That vehicle, a 2015 Mitsubishi, sustained functional damage and the driver was injured. The driver of the Nissan and her two passengers were also uninjured in the accident and the vehicle sustained minor damage.
