Waldo County Sheriff’s beat
BELFAST — The Waldo County Sheriff’s Department reported issuing three traffic citations between April 13 - May 13. Of the three traffic citations, one was issued for an inspection sticker violation, one for failure to provide proof of insurance, and one for failure to register a vehicle. In addition to three traffic infractions, the WSO reported the following activity.
An arrest or summons does not constitute a conviction, and those charged are considered innocent unless proven guilty in a court of law. Juveniles age 17-or-younger are not named.
April 13
Steven Carr, 21, of Friendship, was arrested for domestic violence assault on Lincolnville Road in Belmont.
April 24
Tylor A. Curtis, 21, of Brooks, was issued summonses for operating under the influence and operating without a license on Doak Road in Belfast.
Charles W. Resh, 20, of Searsport, was issued a summons for illegal possession of liquor by a minor via consumption on Doak Road in Belfast.
A Brownfield minor was issued a summons for illegal possession of liquor by a minor via consumption on Doak Road in Belfast.
April 27
Phillip McFadden, 28, of Waldo, was issued summonses for criminal mischief and theft on Townhouse Road in Lincolnville.
Dustyn Wood, 31, was arrested for 10 counts of violating a condition of release and operating after suspension on Stream Road in Winterport.
April 30
Garrett Wight, 22, of Bangor, was issued a summons for criminal speed on Route 137 in Knox.
May 8
James I. Olofson, 42, of Detroit, was issued a summons for operating without a license on Bangor Road in Troy.
Christopher Daley, 33, of Monroe, was issued a summons for violating a condition of release on Chandler Road in Monroe.
May 11
John N. Penney Jr., 32, of Knox, was issued summonses for violating a condition of release and violation of a protection order on Shibbs Road in Knox.
