    BELFAST — The Waldo County Sheriff’s Office reported the following activities Sept. 9-17. An arrest or summons does not imply guilt. 

    Sept. 9

    Stacy Hughes, 45, of Northport, was issued summonses for operating after suspension and attaching false plates on Rocky Road in Northport. 

    Sept. 11

    Sergeant Cody Laite responded to the scene of a single-vehicle accident on Route 139 in Monroe, where an eastbound vehicle went off the road after overcorrecting their vehicle. The 2007 Toyota first went off the road to the right before the driver overcorrected the vehicle to the left, causing it to begin to rotate counter-clockwise as it exited the roadway and hit a CMP utility pole, breaking it. According to the report, the operator claimed to have hydroplaned. The driver was uninjured and the vehicle was towed. CMP responded to replace the broken pole. 

    Sept. 13

    Bobbi Jo Arey, 49, of Bangor, was issued a summons for operating with an expired license (90+ days past expiration) on Main Street in Winterport. 

    Sept. 14

    John Watson, 18, of Bangor, was issued summonses for driving to endanger and improper passing on Main Street in Winterport.
