I'm writing to tell you why the citizens of Union, Warren and Hope should elect Ray Thombs for their State Representative.

My family has been closely associated with Ray and his family for 10 years now. In the 10 years we have known Ray, he has been a source of support and comfort for our family.

About four and a half years ago Ray led the fight for our grandson to become a permanent member of our family. After three long years and many ongoing negotiations with lawyers, judges, and state officials with Ray's unwavering dedication on our behalf, we proudly and joyfully adopted our grandson on Valentine’s Day, 2023.

Ray approaches every difficulty or obstacle with a belief that there is always opportunity for resolution and restoration. He and his family have brought peace and restoration to our family, and continue to do so for many others who have been blessed to know him.

I'm convinced that he purposes to do the same for Union, Warren and Hope, and the entire state of Maine.

He has proven his desire to make change for the better with the countless hours he spent at the State House to better understand how to help the people of Maine. He has proven to me and so many others that he can be counted on when things get tough. 

Ray won't quit, he wont be bought, he will not waiver on his purpose to improve the way of life for all people.
