LINCOLNVILLE — Several volunteers helped with brush work on Cameron Mountain, Saturday, Dec 4, 2021. This was part of an ongoing effort to maintain the fields so they don’t get lost and keep the scenery. A good part of the work was volunteer, and machinery was at a reduced rate, according to Rosey Gerry, Lincolnville Hills project manager.

“Still a lot to do, the blueberry field fills in faster and faster every year,” said Gerry, in a news release.

The fields project also includes maintenance on Millerite and Poverty Knoll.

“Thank you to Kevin, our local State park ranger, who helped to hustled brush all morning,” said Gerry.

The project is accepting donations; make checks out to: Lincolnville Historical Society (Fields Project)
