    ST. GEORGE — Vernon E. Stanley, 92, of St. George, died peacefully on Feb. 24, 2017, at Knox Center for Long Term Care in Rockland.

    A complete obituary will be published.

    A graveside service with military honors is planned for Friday, June 16, at 11 a.m. at South Parish Cemetery on Ridge Road in Martinsville.

    Arrangements are in the care of Burpee, Carpenter & Hutchins Funeral Home.
