'The Two Gentlemen of Verona' premiers in Camden Amphitheatre, July 16

Camden Shakespeare Festival opens "The Two Gentlemen of Verona," premiering on July 16 in the Camden Amphitheatre.
In "The Two Gentlemen of Verona", Valentine travels to Milan to find love. But when he does, his best friend Proteus tries to steal her away. It’s up to Proteus’s girlfriend Julia to cross dress (of course!) and try to set things right. Despite some really boneheaded moves by everyone involved, it all gets sorted out at the end.
"The Two Gentlemen of Verona" will be presented outdoors in the Camden Amphitheater. The performances are produced in conjunction with the Camden Public Library.
Performance dates for "The Two Gentlemen of Verona" are July 16, 17, 18, 22, 23, 24, 25, 29, 30, 31, and August 1, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10. All performances begin at 6 p.m.
There will also be two outdoor performances in Bath at Library Park on July 20 and 21, weather permitting.
The cast features local actors Marguerite Benham, Kendall DeBoer, John Dalton Logan, Laura MacLean, R. Taylor Kruse and Elise K. Voigt. Guest artists are Jacob Allen Farmer, Jillian Hall, David Long III, Rachel Penner, Audree Stephens and Tyla Uzo. The Stage Manager is Rey Hankinson
