SOUTH THOMASTON — Thomas F. McAdam, 80, died peacefully on April 28, 2017, at Pen Bay Medical Center in Rockport, following a period of declining health.

Born March 29, 1937, in New York City, he was the son of Denise Ribulla McAdam. Following high school, Thomas served in the U.S. Air Force and was honorably discharged in 1956.

Thomas was a quiet, private person who kept mostly to himself. He was a lover of animals, especially dogs. Over the years he formed a strong connection to the ones he owned as well as caring for friends’ pets like they were his own.

A long-time resident of New York, Thomas moved to Maine 20 years ago where he has been employed at Primo Restaurant. Thomas will be missed by all who knew him, especially his “Primo family.” whom he had become close with.

In keeping with his quiet nature, private services will be held at a later date.
