ROCKPORT — A new temporary art exhibit at Pen Bay Medical Center features work by Bjorn Runquist (oil), Kathleen A. Fox (watercolor paintings) and Michael Hagenbuch (photography) along the walls of the hospital’s main hallway.
The display is part of an ongoing effort at Pen Bay to display local artists throughout the hospital. Each artist is required to have a connection to Maine or New England.
QR codes, which can be scanned by a smartphone or tablet to access the displayed artists’ information, are posted alongside their work.
The current exhibit is on display until May 24. A new set of art exhibits at Pen Bay and Waldo is currently in the planning stage. Display details will be shared at a later date.
