Social hour for remote workers at Rockland Public Library, May 28
ROCKLAND — The Rockland Public Library will host a social hour for remote workers, Tuesday, May 28, at 5:30 p.m. This event is free and open to all.
Remote work can sometimes be isolating, according to RPL, in a news release.
“If you're looking to connect with other remote and hybrid workers in your community, join us for the first in a new series of social hours at the Library,” said RPL. “We'll have snacks and refreshments, and there will be plenty of opportunities to learn what other folks are doing and make new friends.”
Attendees will also have the chance to learn more about how the Library has been utilizing a grant from the Maine State Library to help promote Remote Work in Libraries and offer feedback.
All are welcome.
This event will take place in the Community Room; the Rockland Public Library is located at 80 Union St. For more information, please email elewis@rocklandmaine.gov by 4 p.m. on May 28.
