Searsport author Kim Yesis to talk with Stockton Springs library, April 27
STOCKTON SPRINGS — Sunday, April 27, at 2 p.m., Searsport author Kim Yesis will present a book talk at the Stockton Springs Community Library.
Yesis is a former business manager and lifelong student of human nature with a master’s degree in counseling. Her mission in writing is to highlight the challenging, the humorous, and the captivating in the lives of ordinary people.
Yesis’ first book, Side by Side: Tales from Behind the Canvas, an artist-and-creative-partner memoir, was a Maine Literary Award and Indie Book Award finalist. She also wrote Artist in the Allagash, a wilderness journal. Her debut fiction title, Artifice, will be released soon.
Books will be available for purchase and signing after the presentation. Light refreshments will be served. All are welcome.
