RSU 22 proposes 4.06 percent increase

    HAMPDEN — The Regional School Unit 22 proposed school budget for the upcoming 2019-2020 school year will see an increase of 4.06 percent, if voters approve it. 

    The school district serves the towns of Frankfort, Hampden, Newburgh and Winterport. 

    A public budget forum will be held Tuesday, June 4 and a district budget meeting will be held Thursday, June 6. 

    The budget validation referendum will be held Tuesday, June 11 at each town’s polling locations from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.
