Photographer Jeff Mabee was on a safety boat during the annual Belfast Bay Come Boating Rowing Regatta and captured the competition around the buoys.

The 2022 Regatta took place Saturday, Aug. 20, on a four-mile course with several different classes. The Regatta is part of the Belfast Harbor Fest, weekend of summer celebration/.

Mabee’s station was at the monument, so he watched people rounding the bell buoy.

The last shots are of Dick Baldwin, who was last to finish and received a standing ovation by the crowd.
