Rockport Police beat: Domestic violence assaults, texting while driving
ROCKPORT – Rockport police reported the following activity Feb.11-16. An arrest or summons does not apply guilt. A person charged with a crime is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in a court of law.
Feb. 11
Brendan Henry, 28, of Waterville, was issued a summons by Officer Dana Smith for texting while operating a motor vehicle.
Adelia Leonard, 37, of Thomaston, was issued a summons by Officer Robbie Shaw for failure to maintain control of a motor vehicle, inspection, insurance and seatbelt violations.
Christopher Toole, 54, of Brunswick, was issued a summons by Smith for operator possessing an open container on public way, failure to give notice by quickest means, leaving the scene of an accident.
Feb. 12
Aaron Gervais, 32, of Westbrook, was charged by Officer Chris Taylor with domestic violence assault.
Christopher Delgiudice, 25, of Oakland, was charged by Taylor with operating under the influence.
Feb. 13
Gene Piken, 70, of Rockport, was charged by Taylor with domestic violence assault.
Feb. 14
Christopher Zak, 24, of Camden, was issued a summons by Taylor for insurance violation.
Holly C. Bowman, 29, of Union, was issued a summons by Officer Travis Ford for insurance violation.
Feb. 15
Samantha Stanley, 26, of Camden, was issued a summons by Smith for operator with an unregistered motor vehicle more than 150 days.
Michael D. Moody, 29, of Belfast, was issued a summons by Smith for inspection violation.
Richard Sheen, 45, of Warren, was issued a summons by Smith for operating a motor vehicle with an expired license.
Feb. 16
Jamie Rich, 20, of Lincolnville, was issued a summons by Smith for operating after suspension.
Stoney Vega, 37, of Rockland, was arrested by Ford on a warrant.
