Rockport Police beat: Assault, theft, speeding
ROCKPORT — Rockport police reported the following activity May 16-31. An arrest or summons does not apply guilt. A person charged with a crime is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in a court of law.
May 16
Grace Jameson, 22, of Camden, was charged by Officer Robbie Shaw with theft by unauthorized taking or transfer.
May 21
Kate E. Tripp, 33, of South Thomaston, was issued a summons by Officer Chris Taylor for failure to register motor vehicle more than 150 days.
Kyle Clough, 25, of Port Clyde, was issued a summons by Officer Travis Ford for speeding 51 mph in a 35 mph zone.
May 24
Maureen M. Hall, 31, of Searsport, was issued a summons by Taylor for failure to notify state of address change.
Simon Derico, 34, of Appleton, was issued a summons by Ford for inspection violation.
May 31
Brandon Amborn, 21, of Rockport, was charged by Sgt. Jim Moore for assault.
Amanda Rolerson, 24, of Washington, was issued a summons by Moore for failure to maintain control of motor vehicle.
