ROCKLAND — Talon Maine I LLC, a division of Grey Peak Development Company of Las Vegas, Nevada, has acquired title to the Pizza Hut building and additional land behind the building, at 190 and 196 Camden Rd. in Rockland.

According to a Talon news release, Grey Peak’s owner, James Allen, indicated that he had been considering a redevelopment of the site to a mixed-use project, incorporating a car wash and mini storage facility, however, Pizza Hut expressed interest in extending their lease, so Allen and Pizza Hut agreed to a new 5-year lease on the space, which will guarantee Pizza Hut the building through 2026.

“I am excited to welcome Pizza Hut to our roster of clients and look forward to a long and successful relationship with them,” said Allen.

Talon Maine I, LLC was represented by Nancy Hughes of Camden Coast Real Estate.

Grey Peak Development is a commercial real estate development company that specializes in retail, office, and industrial developments throughout the United States.

Asked what has interested Grey Peak in this area, Allen responded that some of his national tenants have indicated that “they would like a greater presence in the New England area,” the release said.

To aid in his customer’s expansion needs, Grey Peak will be opening an office in the Rockport/Camden area in the next few months.
