ROCKLAND — Take part in the Friends of Rockland Public Library Open Gardens Tour. Select gardens in the Rockland area will be open between June 20 and July 11, on specified days, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. 

Gardens on the tour are listed with more description on the Friends’ Facebook page and the Rockland Public Library website. Gardens will be identified by a Friends of Rockland Public Library sign in the front yard that will list the hours and days that garden is open. Please observe the hours and days listed on each sign.

There will be a donation jar at each garden, and some gardens will also have plants for sale. In order to facilitate social distancing, these will be self-guided tours. • Gardens of Kelly and Philip Wright, 16 Lincoln Street, Rockland. Open Tuesday through Saturday, 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

• Gardens of Lea and Dick Carver, 88 North Shore Drive, Owls Head. Parking is next door at 84 North Shore Drive, limited to 2 cars at a time, open Tuesday and Wednesday only, 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Not handicapped accessible.

• Gardens of Katharine and Mark Farrell, 7 Pacific Street, Rockland, Tuesday and Saturday only, 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Not handicapped accessible.

• Gardens of Rebecca Albright and Gerald Weinand, 26 Grove Street, Rockland. Open Tuesday through Saturday, 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

• Gardens of Mary Alice and John Bird, 51 Masonic Street, Rockland. Open Tuesday through Saturday, 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

• Gardens of Judy and Melissa Waterman, 33 Grove Street, Rockland. Open Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday only, 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
