Roberts, Lindelof fastest at Camden alpine meet; Windjammers ski to victory

CAMDEN — Alpine skiers from around the state convened Thursday, Feb. 11 at the Camden Snow Bowl for a high school alpine ski meet hosted by Camden Hills. 

The Midcoast was well-represented in team competition as the host Windjammers found themselves winning both the girls and boys divisions. 

In the girls division, Camden Hills placed first with 14 points and Hampden Academy placed second with 39 points. Skiers from Bangor, Brewer and Orono also competed but did not qualify to place as a team. 

In the boys division, Camden Hills placed first with 14 points while Hampden Academy placed second with 36 points. A skier from Islesboro also competed but did not qualify to place as a team. 

Individually, Zola Roberts of Camden Hills performed the best among all competing girls while Jett Lindelof of Islesboro performed the best of all competing boys.
