Robert P. Conrad, obituary
TENANTS HARBOR — Robert (Bob) Paul Conrad passed away peacefully while on a walk on his farm on Thursday, Sept. 24, 2020.
He was born and raised in Aurora, Illinois on September 15, 1939. He graduated from Wayne State University. He worked as a guidance counselor in Rockland, Maine, and Waltham, Massachusetts. He was a recognized artist and goldsmith in Newburyport, Massachusetts and in Tenants Harbor, Maine, where he most recently made his home. He enjoyed the ocean and boating.
He is survived by his sons, Peter Conrad and his wife, Karen, of Beverly, Massachusetts, Phillip Conrad and his wife, Lori, and grandson, Walter, of Henderson, Nevada; his daughter, Sarah Conrad Weisman, and her husband, Harris, and grandchildren, Theo and Phoebe, of Baldwinsville, New York; and his long-time partner, Jan McCoy.
He was predeceased by his sister, Elaine Blatner, and his brother, Dale Conrad.
A memorial service to celebrate Bob’s life will be held in spring 2021.
