Rigsgiving 2026 brings Rigometrics, Sneaky Miles to Watts Hall
Event Date
Wednesday, November 25, 2026 - 08:00 pmTHOMASTON — Watts Hall Community Arts, 174 Main Street in Thomaston, will host Rigsgiving 2026 on Wednesday, Nov. 25, featuring Portland rock trio Rigometrics with opening act Sneaky Miles, a five-piece indie-folk band from Newmarket, New Hampshire. Doors open at 7:30 p.m., with music beginning at 8 p.m.
Now in its fourth year, Rigsgiving brings energy to the Midcoast for a holiday gathering rooted in the band’s local connections. For Hendricks and Berger, the evening offers a chance to reconnect with the community where their musical journeys began, bringing together familiar faces and new listeners before Thanksgiving.
"Featuring Josef Berger on guitar, Derek Haney on drums, and Rockland-area native Keenan Hendricks on vocals and piano, Rigometrics delivers a powerful live sound built around searing guitar work, driving rhythms, soaring vocals, and piano that doubles as bass," said Community Arts.
Rigometrics has been making waves throughout the Northeast with a high-energy sound that blends classic rock, funk, blues, indie hooks, and modern alternative, according to a Community Arts news release. Formed in late 2021, the trio has played more than 450 shows, toured extensively along the East Coast and in the South, sold out venues with capacities of 300, and headlined major shows across Maine.
The band's growing catalog includes its 2026 album The Rigossance Era, along with multiple EPs, live recordings, and singles that showcase its evolving sound. Collaborations with acclaimed producers and Grammy-winning recording professionals have further refined the band's distinctive approach to rock 'n' roll, according to the release.
Opening the show, Sneaky Miles brings its own brand of high-energy, heartfelt folk-rock to the stage.
"The five-piece band combines honest storytelling with the full sound of drums, bass, and pedal steel, creating songs built for packed rooms and loud singalongs," said the news release.
Formed in 2019 after founding members Kevin O'Brien, Patrick Fitzgibbons, and Jake Gagne met at open mic nights at the University of New Hampshire, "the group has grown from a stripped-down trio into a dynamic ensemble that balances intimate songwriting with an energetic live performance," said the release.
The event is for ages 21 and older.
Tickets are $25 in advance or $30 on the day of the show, subject to availability. For tickets and additional information, visit https://www.wattshallthomaston.com/upcoming-events/rigometrics-rigsgiving-2026.
