Renaissance Men return for Searsmont performance, Oct. 5
SEARSMONT — Boston area vocal collective, the Renaissance Men, return to perform in Searsmont as the closing performance of the Live Outside the Library 2024 concert program. The concert, on Saturday, Oct. 5, at 4 p.m., in Searsmont United Methodist Church, will cap off a year of shows "that have delighted Midcoast residents with a wide variety of local and touring artists who have brought huge talent to the rural village," said a news release.
The Renaissance Men will bring a group of five acapella singers for this performance and the 60 minute program will explore 400 years of vocal music. Artistic Director Christopher Perry will sing tenor with Jason Connell, while Will Prapestis and Peter C. Schilling sing baritone, and Anthony Burkes Garza sings bass.
"Composed entirely of professional vocalists, the group have been performing around New England for 10 years, relishing in an eclectic array of musical styles and moving audiences with their superb musicianship and communication," said the release.
